The last post this year is completely white. This is still a lot of snow, it's all covered with ice and bitter cold.
I love that real winter, even when I'm actually more of a sun person. The icy air pass through the nose to bring in frozen snow to crash - it's like the first bite into a cake with Meringue, it is addictive - do Schneengel, icicles break off (and anlutschen), climb 20 times in a row on the toboggan hill and quitschend slide down, enter virgin snow, tracks indicate the Schnnee through thick puffed birds laugh, enjoy the silence, stiff frozen hands Warm to hot cups, revel in childhood memories ......... the snow-covered garden to admire and dream about spring.
