What actually is Eve Online?

It is time again Sunday and I was surfing around a little on YouTube. And I came across an older interview with Arend Stührmann that is a bit about Eve Online. Without losing further many words, I simply linking to the video and rate: Check it out now! It's worth it. ;-)

Cedega Linux client support is set, an operating

How to write the Linux Magazine website , CCP Games is the Support for native Linux client of Eve Online, after a few failures again. The reason is simply insufficient number of users for such a client. The effort, which is connected with the care of the client is simply disproportionate to the economic benefits. So I would interpret this in any case. In economic terms, in any case, the CCP naturally and by that, either new capacity will be liberated and can focus on the development of Eve Online.

From 10 March 2009 will therefore be no more support for the Linux client. Nevertheless, one can use the Windows client using Wine under Linux. Thus, it will therefore continue to be players who will play Eve Online for Linux.

GIGA!

The CEO of GIGA (some will know the sender, because there were some items of Eve Online), Stephan Borg, announced today that the station will adjust its operating end of March. By lower advertising revenues and the fact that the owner of "Premiere" will in future focus more on its primary business is, there is now this week "send break". So Zappenduster. End of the trail.

Well, I find that very sad. Especially since it was at least a transmitter, which has devoted a few shows (and not just short programs) to our beloved Eve Online. Certainly there was a lot of scrap metal and the Eve broadcasts were not perfect but at least this was something on TV.

as fee payers (GEZ Hello! * Wink *) I would hope very much that this format will remain. The best on free TV. There has not even run all day like that. I could well imagine that something could also be coupled to a station with music videos. So, for example from 2 to 16 clock at night clock afternoon music, then on reports of the Games (whether online or offline) and intermediate always 1-2 music videos + the usual commercial breaks. That must be worth it, right?

bad anyway, and I thank the team at GIGA. Does well and maybe we'll meet again some day. I believe that a format like this is fit for the future. Especially when you consider how the gaming market in recent years more and more steeply to move up and MMO's almost been a "people's hobby," are titles would like some tabloid.
